World Environment Day

“Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace the whole of nature and its beauty.” – Albert Einstein

Mother Earth is like a parent that we have to look after when she is need of care and compassion. She bestowed love, empathy and nurtured us with our basic need of shelter and food.

In limelight to what has been said, we have dedicated June 5th of every year to her. We celebrate this day in her name and spread awareness regarding all the causes of harms that is upsetting her.

Students at RV College of Engineering have always kept nature and the environment as their prime area of concern for any type of project or event.

The RV Solar Car Team was started in order to build cars and vehicles which are environment friendly. We are proud to say that our team is the only Go-Green team representing RVCE.

June 5th is a very special day for every member of our team. This day helps us cherish the real motive behind working for this team. Winning the World Solar Car Challenge is a part of our dream to help in researching new technology for an eco-friendly environment. We believe in taking steps to protect our future generations in inclusion with saving our resources.

The RVSCT will be celebrating this auspicious day on June 24th in order to mark it on our calendars of history by launching the process of production for the second prototype of our team. This month is the beginning of a new mile in our team’s journey. We take this opportunity to thank our well-wishers in helping us drive this far.

Wishing you all a Happy Environment’s Day,
